Hello!
I’m Ashley, the founder and president of Impactual LLC, a social impact firm that supports brands, nonprofits, and philanthropists that want to see positive social change in the world. I have been nationally recognized as a civic engagement and political expert and featured in publications such as The Washington Post, The New York Times, Into The Gloss, Glamour, and Marie Claire. My focus at Impactual is on creating innovative programs to engage people where they are, producing engaging and educational resources, and facilitating trusted partnerships among hundreds of brands, nonprofits, and influencers. We’ve helped architect some of the country’s most visible civic engagement programs, such as Power the Polls, a project that recruited over 700,000 poll workers with help from celebrities like Lady Gaga, Dan Levy, Trevor Noah, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Kerry Washington.
Prior to Impactual, I ran Rock the Vote, The Atlas Project, and GAIN Power. During my tenure at Rock the Vote, I was credited with “reviving the 90s-era voter registration juggernaut,” partnering with heavy hitting brands like iHeartMedia, Tinder, and Verizon and cultural leaders like Young Thug, Kendall Jenner, and Lil Jon.
I co-authored a widely cited case study for Harvard, on the power of companies have to increase voter turnout and have had the privilege of writing for Elle Magazine, The Meteor, Refinery29, and Harvard Business Review.
I’m a proud New Englander and alum of The George Washington University and Harvard Kennedy School.
experience
Consulting
I have been fortunate to work with incredible people, nonprofits, and brands. I always show up with the same level of commitment to making sure every project is successful and, above all else, drives actual change.
social impact
I love helping companies and nonprofits work together to make a difference. I’m proud of my voter registration work with companies like iHeartRadio, Tinder, Twitter — and influencers like Lil Jon and Kendall Jenner.
STRATEGY
I help organizations figure out how to achieve the results they want through a process of strategic planning that focuses on how to execute, fund, and measure each program. This work helps ensure deserving programs are well resourced.
Celebrating
I love to celebrate the wins - big and small - and help others pause to do so as well!
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world: indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.
